Third place finisher at ASUS Autumn 2009, Ukrainian side KerchNET, have come off a strong win in their first round at Arbalet Cup Europe.

KerchNET faced Swedish team Coldfrag in their first round, playing the map of dust2. Coldfrag shocked many last week when defeating mTw 16-14 on train at DreamHack Winter, but magic-glow did however get washed off the Swedes, as KerchNET crushed the Swedes.



Especially Arseniy "esenin" Trinogenko was the man to watch, leading KerchNET to an amazing 14:1 lead after finishing their CT side on dust2. Overall the Swedes did not stand a chance, losing 23-7 overall.

KerchNET will face German side Alternate in the next round, while Coldfrag will be up against Evil Geniuses.
